thanks for sharing this very comprehensive review, What might still be different this type is the addiction effect created by the combination of video, mobility and free access. I can't get really addicted to books reading because my brain is creating mental images from the written words while a video is overwhelming (like TV was) and doesn't leave room for creativity. TV watching was also a social activity and we had no control on content.
